Art Pasco rsArthur Morris Pascoe, 84, of Santa Clara, NM passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at his residence surrounded by family.

Arthur was born in Fort Bayard, New Mexico.

At the age of seventeen, he joined the army, and served in Vietnam for two years 66-67; in 1967, he retired from the Army as a truck driver. In 1968, he went to Italy.

He was employed with Bright Funeral Home, always willing to assist with families. He was an avid member of the Lions Club and enjoyed assisting during the summer breakfast. Mr. Pascoe was also a member of The Silver City Masonic Lodge #8 AF and AM and Eastern Star, Shriners, Elks.

He loved fishing, listening to country music and watching old western movies.

He was a very generous person, always assisted those who needed to meet their appointments, visited Millie's Rest Home.

He was the type that never said "No."

Mr. Pascoe is survived by daughter, Dianne Pascoe, her husband Marcello Biggio of Pisa, Italy; one stepdaughter Linda (Tom) Sigler of Bishop, California; three grandchildren, Matteo Biggio, Davide Biggio and Jason Sigler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Pascoe and Mary Ferfes Pascoe; wife Helen; brothers Madison, Charles, Sonny; sisters Katherine, Lydia and Margaret. He also was preceded by two lovely dogs he cherished, Millie and Mugley.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Fort Bayard National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
