Delfina Arsola rsDelfina M. Arsola, 86, of Silver City passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in El Paso, Texas.

Delfina was born October 8, 1930 to Jose and Salome Marin in Hurley, NM. She loved to travel, be with her family and watch her grandchildren play sports. Delfina also worked as an aide at 6th Street School. She was a parishioner of St. Vincent Catholic Church and was involved in the Altar Society, Guadalupanas and the Church Choir.

Delfina is survived by her children, Belinda Jauriqui (Cecilio) and Manuel Arsola Jr. (Belinda) of Silver City, Gloria Bunell of Loma Linda, AZ; brothers, Genaro Marin (Erlinda) and Joe Marin (Bertha) of Hurley, Jesus Marin of Oceanside, CA ; sister, Mary Gomez (Felipe) of Hurley; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Manuel Arsola; brothers, George, Gonzalo, Chencho, Manny and Lino.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from five to six o'clock in the evening at Baca's Funeral Chapels with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at six o'clock. The Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, June 5, 2017 at ten o'clock in the morning at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. Concluding services and burial will follow at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Cemetery. Officiating will be Father Oliver Obele.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Vincent Catholic Church building fund.
