Ruth Parham, 80, resident of Deming passed away Friday June 2, 2017 at Mt. View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.

Ruth was born October 25, 1936 in Anthony, Kansas to Olan and Lauretta Callaway. She lived in Deming about 15 years having previously lived in Lancaster, California. In Lancaster Ruth worked for Los Angeles County as a Certified Legal Assistant from which she retired in 1991. After retirement she and her husband loved to travel in their RV and see new sights. She loved cooking, music and was always able to find a bit of humor in most everything. Above all things, her most special love was for her grandchildren who she absolutely adored.

She is survived by her husband, George O. Parham of Deming, sons, Kevin Parham of Deming, Kyle Parham of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Lauretta Hanshew of Bakersfield, CA; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be this Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Baca's Funeral Chapel with Dr. Robert Hamilton, Pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
