Manuel "Manny" Macias, 71, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 7, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA to Jesse Macias and Bertha Armenta Macias. He was one of five siblings: Michael (deceased), Eddie, Steve, and Daniel. He is survived by four children (Christine, Stephanie, Cathy, and Jeffrey) and five grandchildren.

Manny was filled with life and loved sharing his tall tales to all around him, especially his grandchildren.

Manny spoke with reverence about his time with RC and 7-Up where he worked as a Production Manager before retiring in 1998.

In 2004, Manny relocated from Southern California to New Mexico and referred to his home as his "little piece of heaven."

His passions always revolved around his family and friends. They included riding dirt bikes, off-roading, drag racing, sports in general but specifically USC football, his truck, sharing a meal, and his movies as seen in the state of the art home theater.

Manny was loved and will be missed by many.

Visitation will be Monday, July 17 from 5-6 pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to follow at 6 pm with Carmen Terrazas reciting. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
