pamela allan rsPamela Gehl (Yocum) Allan, 67, of Safford , AZ, (formerly of Silver City, NM) passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at her home.

Pamela was born on July 10, 1950 in El Paso, TX to Jerry Dean Yocum and Ella Mae Yocum. She grew up in Silver City, NM where she attended St. Mary's Academy and later graduated from Silver High School.

In 1973, she married the love of her life, Jim. They made their home in Silver City where they raised their three children. In 1999, Pam and Jim moved to Arizona.

Pam was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She greatly enjoyed family gatherings, working in her yard, camping and making her home a welcoming place. Pam spent many summers hosting her grandchildren and spending time with them. She and Jim went on many outings to hunt, fish, camp and relax in the outdoors. Being outdoors was one of Pam's favorite pastimes.

She is survived by her husband James (Jim) Davis Allan, two children, Tami Legarda and her husband Rudy, and Tanya Renteria and her husband, Troy. Pam has two grandchildren, Christopher Allan and Brooklyn Renteria. She is also survived by her brother, Harvey Yocum, and his wife, Norma, her sister Debra Yocum. multiple nieces and nephews, and many close family friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son James R. Allan.

Services in her remembrance will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11:30 am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels in Santa Clara, NM with Deacon Art Gutierrez officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.

Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory "Trusted care for the ones you love" ~ 575-537-0777.
