Robert H. Hogan Jr. 70 of Silver City, New Mexico, went to be with the Lord Jesus his Savior on Friday on Friday, August 18, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Elizabeth, NJ and graduated from West Virginia University. After working in New Jersey and Florida, in roofing, the construction of skyscrapers and other industrial projects, Mr. Hogan and his wife moved to Silver City, New Mexico in 1990, where he also worked in construction, and later at the Silver City Walmart.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol (Meng) Hogan, and her children who loved and adopted him. He is also survived by his special canine friend, Ruby, his faithful companion.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Hogan Sr. and his mother Adele Kurzinski.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bright Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Calvary Chapel in Silver City, NM at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Joseph Gros and The Rt. Reverend George Conner, presiding bishop of the Anglican Episcopal Church, officiating.
