Lawrence E Schmidt, 63 of Lordsburg passed away August 20, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

"Larry" as he was affectionately known was born August 30, 1953 in Torrance, California to Edward and Dorothy (Burch) Schmidt.

He had worked as a truck driver locally with the mines as well as other transportation companies.

Larry loved life especially the outdoors which allowed him to pursue his favorite past time, working with his tractor. Digging, hauling, cleaning, anything, anyone could do with a tractor. Larry will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry is survived by his wife Deborah; five siblings which included a very special, loving brother, Donald; a brother in law, Gene Francis; sister in law, Linda Quintana (Emilio); many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Edward.

At Larry's request, cremation will take place and services will be held at a later date.
