lulu chavez rsLourdes "Lulu" Antonia Chavez, 82, of Santa Rita entered eternal rest on September 14, 2017.

Mrs. Chavez was born on June 13, 1935 to Tomas Perez &Dolores Lara Sandoval. She was united in marriage to Tomas J. Chavez. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2010. They were married for 59 blissful years.She was a devoted wife and a loving mother of twelve children. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She loved everyone and was always filled with faith and love. She was a woman with the heart of an angel.

Mrs. Chavez is survived by her children, Raymond & Tonya Chavez, Freddie Chavez, Miguel & Elena Chavez Sr., Johnny & Karen Chavez, Aurelio Chavez & Fred Chavira and Miguel Chavez Jr., her daughters Antonia E. Chavez &Mary "Paco" Richardson, Esperanza "Hope" Baca, and Terrie Chavez, two sisters; Lupe Jimenez, Patsy Padilla, one brother; Joe Sandoval. Also surviving her are 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons Tomas S. Chavez Jr., Magdaleno S. Chavez, Felix S. Chavez, two children lost by miscarriage,her brotherJesus "Chewy" Sandoval, her sisters; Mary Duran and Rosa S. Chavez and her parents Tomas Perez &Dolores Lara Sandoval.

Out of respect for Mrs. Chavez's wishes, no services will be held. She will be cremated on September 18, 2017 at Baca's Funeral Chapels.

To everyone everywhere who showed kindness and love to our mom throughout her life, Thank You and may God bless you.

Than anyone can know"
