Donald I. Heath III, 28, a resident of Mimbres, NM entered eternal rest Sunday, October 15, 2017.

He was born February 28, 1989 in Silver City, NM to Donald I. Heath and Alvina G. Alcorta.

He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his father, Donald "Donnie" Heath of Durango, CO; his mother, Alvina Alcorta and husband Harry Evans of Las Cruces; his loving wife, Veronica Heath of Anthony, NM; one daughter, Layla Marie Heath of Anthony; two brothers, Jacob Heath of Las Cruces; James "Vinny" Heath of Durango, CO; three sisters, Alvina "Chacha" Heath of Durango, CO; Krystle Taylor and husband Clay of Las Cruces; Samantha Evans of Keller, TX; nieces and nephews, Julyan, Bradyn, Josh, Zeke, Katy, Charlotte, and Frankie; paternal grandparents, Roxanne Bagwell and husband Roy of Safford, AZ; maternal grandfather, Pete Alcorta of Mimbres.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Donald I. Heath; maternal grandmother, Josie G. Alcorta; one uncle, Michael Lee Heath; cousins, Josiah Roybal, and David Alcorta.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 18 from 9-10 am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to begin at 10 am with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting. The funeral mass with full military honors will follow at 11:30 am at San Lorenzo Catholic Church with Father Abraham Soliz officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
