Antonio De Anda, Sr. 91, Deming resident passed away Saturday December 23, 2017 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.

Antonio was born August 1, 1926 to Jes Murama and Joseph De Anda in Chicago, Illinois. He married Sara Marquez on March 9, 1951 in Rancho de Santiago, Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to Deming in the early 1960's. He was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation.

Survivors include his wife, Sara De Anda of the home; daughters, Maria Chavez of Deming and Susana De Anda of Lakeview, Colorado; his son, Antonio De Anda of Deming.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 Thursday afternoon December 28, 2017 at Baca's Funeral Chapels. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory. Inurnment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery.
