Juan Daniel Mariscal, 30, Deming resident passed away Wednesday January 17, 2018 at Sierra Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

Juan was born February 27, 1987 to Francisca Mariscal and Juan Valenzuela in Casa Grande, Arizona. Juan was a lifelong Deming resident and graduated from Deming High School. He was a member of the Templo Nueva Vida and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include his parents, Juan and Francisca Valenzuela of Deming; 3 brothers, Jose Miguel, Jose Luis Ruiz and Ricardo Barron and wife Kerena all of Deming; 1 sister, Carmen Ruiz of Deming; grandmother, Ofelia Placentia of Casa Grande, AZ; aunt, Candida Ruiz of Deming; extended family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ricardo Barron, Jose Valenzuela, Luis Ruiz, Ruben Rodriguez, Mario Ruiz Jr, and Sylvia Savala.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 23, 2018 at 9 o'clock in the morning at Templo Nuevo Vida with a funeral service to follow at 2 o'clock. Pastor Isaac Corral will officiate. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
