Elena Gonzales Cisneros, 83, a resident of Arenas Valley, NM entered eternal rest Friday, March 2,2018 at her residence.

She was born November 29, 1934 in Terrero, NM to Cristino and Margarita Estevane Gonzales.

Our Mother, Grandmother had a wonderful aura about her and she was everyone's friend. She was the kind of person people wanted to be around. To her children and family she was their guiding light with a love that always shined. Through her life we loved her dearly and in death we will do the same. She was strong until the end and we will miss her stories; but she will live in our hearts and memories forever.

She is survived by three sons, Ruben Villegas of Arenas Valley; Fernando "Fernie" Villegas of Arenas Valley; Santiago "Beto" Reyes (Ruth) of Austin, TX; three daughters, Delilah Villegas of Baytown, TX; Zonya Vega (Richard) of Silver City, NM; Eunice "Nunie" Ibarra (Gabriel) of Odessa, TX; thirty three grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; one brother, Cristino Gonzales of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Selah Bencomo (Benny) of Bayard; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Hector Villegas; one brother, Elias E. Gonzales; one sister, Eunice Parsons.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
