Estella M. Gonzalez, 72, of Tucson, Arizona entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Tucson Medical Center.

Estella was born on October 22, 1945 to Guillermo and Carmen Gonzalez. Estella attended the New Mexico School for the Deaf where she was enrolled at the young age of 7 and went on to graduate.

Estella worked at the University of Arizona for 38 years. Estella dearly enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her siblings: Luz Teran of Tucson, AZ, Willie and Virginia Gonzalez of Bayard, NM, Raul and Lupe Gonzalez of Santa Clara, NM, Ana Monje of Santa Clara, NM, Patricio Gonzalez and companion Jo Ann Romero of Las Cruces, NM, and Carlos and Lita Gonzalez of Seattle. Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Estella is preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Carmen Gonzalez, and sister, Angel Frias.

Cremation was entrusted to Brings Funeral Chapels, Tucson, AZ. The Holy Rosary and Mass will be held at the Infant Jesus Catholic Church on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at ten o'clock in the morning and interment will follow. Estella will be laid to rest alongside her parents Guillermo and Carmen Gonzalez in the Hurley Cemetery. Officiating will be Father Francisco Diaz.
