Florentino Terrazas Rodriguez, 96, longtime Deming resident passed away Wednesday March 14, 2018 at Willow Manor in Deming.

Florentino was born December 17, 1921 to Leonila Terrazas and Florentino Rodriguez in Boquilla Rio Conchos, Chihuahua, Mexico. He married Ana Maria Gonzalez, came to United States in the Bracero program from Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico and soon after relocated his family to Deming. He worked at the Bowman Chicken Farm for 15 years and went on to the construction industry until his retirement. Florentino attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survived by his wife, Ana Maria Rodriguez of the home; 3 sons, Florentino Rodriguez of Deming, Eleman (Gina) Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ and Edgar Rodriguez of Deming; 3 daughters, Rosario (Oscar) Carrasco of Delicias, Chihuahua, Olivina "Olie" (Juan) Ortiz of Deming and Maria (Jaime) Rodriguez of Westminster, CA; twelve grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Florentino and Leonila Rodriguez; two brothers, Agustin and Ruben and a sister, Evangelina; a new born infant child, Rebecca Rodriguez and a grandson Jaime Grado who passed away last year on February 4, 2017.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jaime Olvera, Jesus Cruz, Tino Rodriguez, Edgar Rodriguez, Juan Grado and Juan Ortiz.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday March 17, 2018 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Baca's Funeral Chapel with Pastor Carlos Perez of El Faro Baptist Church from Phoenix, AZ, officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
