Eloisa Hernandez Nava, 89, of Lordsburg, New Mexico entered etemal rest March 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by friends and family.

She was born on Oct. 1928 to Demetrio Hernandez and Celia Ornelas.

Eloisa lived for her children, grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews, she loved them all so much.

Crocheting was what she loved to do. Eloisa loved to cook for friends and family which made her so happy.

Eloisa owned Hernandez Grocery along with her father for many years and her customers knew her so well.

She is survived by her beloved hushand of 70 years Ramon B. Nava of Lordsburg, NM, two sisters, Ernestine Renteria (Ernesto)and children Ernesto(May) and Ann Elizabeth(Sharon) and Alicia Rodriquez and children Armando (Lissie); three sons, Ramon H. Nava of El Paso, Tx, Demetrio H Nava(Linda) of Silver City, NM and Hector H. Nava (Cindy) of Lordsburg, NM. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren: Christopher (Samantha),,and children Kaliand Kyle, Denise, Vanessa, and son Jonathan, Tanya (Albert) and children Jazmin, Isabella and Lucas, Crystal (Pablo)and son Eliseo, Shelia, Alex (Jami), and children Alex Ty, Bella, and Patrick, Naomi (Adam), and children Desiree, and Damien and his son Damien Jr., James (Leslie) and children Nathaniel and Ryan, Lei Lani (Robert)and children Lyzandar and Lyzaius and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Demetrio and Celia Hernandez, sister Consuelo, brother-in law Guillermo, grandson Patrick, nephew Victor Ray, and niece Alma.

A Funeral Service will be held at Lordsburg Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Shakespeare Cemetery in Lordsburg, NM.

Pallbearers are Christopher Nava, James Nava, Albert Torres, Jonathan Murillo, Adam Garcia, Armando Rodriquez, and Roberto Jimenez. Honorary pallbearers are Ernesto Renteria Jr, Nathaniel Nava, Damien Nava Domonick Rodriguez, Dillion Rodriguez, Ryan Nava, Lyzandar Jimenez, Lucus Torres, Lyzaius Jimenez and Eliseo Alaniz, B.J Renteria.
