Harold C. Keith, 80, a resident of Alma, NM entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his daughter's residence in Silver City, NM.

He was born June 22, 1937 in Alma, NM to Howard and Emma Kelley Keith.

Harold worked in Silver City for the NM Highway Dept. from 1955-62 and for the US Forest Service from 1962-1990. He was a rancher from 1962-99.

Mr. Keith was a Cowboy poet and musician all his life.

He is survived by three daughters, Deborah K. Laney, Donna L. Rader (Tim), and Dianne E. Carrico; a son, Joseph H. Keith; three grandchildren, Travis L. Carrico, Albert K. Laney, and Taylor A. Carrico; his spouses, Maxine Younger ('57-'93) mother of four children and Jan Choate ('99-'03).

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Geraldine Fritz.

Visitation will be Friday, April 20 from 10-11 a.m. at Glenwood Community Center followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. being officiated by Elder Tex Donaldson. Concluding service and interment will be at Alma Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Nash, Tim Rader, Travis L. Carrico, Albert K. Laney, Taylor A. Carrico, James Jones, Patrick Jones, and Greg Jones.
