Margaret Ortiz Pedraza, 85, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Fort Bayard Medical Center.

She was born February 22, 1933 in San Lorenzo, NM to Melquiades and Rosario Villalobos Ortiz.

She is survived by one daughter, Lydia Pedraza of Bell Gardens, CA; two sons, James Pedraza of Mimbres; and Saul Pedraza of Silver City; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Guillermo Ortiz and wife Aurelia of Bayard; Felipe Ortiz and wife Ramona of Bayard; one sister, Justina Norero of Mesilla, NM also numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Manuel Pedraza ('08); one brother, Pete Ortiz; two sisters, Isabella Ramirez, and Henriquetta Campos.

Visitation will be Monday, June 4 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited by Deacon David Castañon to begin at 11:30 a.m. Concluding service and interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.

Pallbearers will be James and Saul Pedraza, Baltazar Gonzalez, Avevildo Vigil Jr., Ruben Castillo, and Felix Casas. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Abeytia.
