Josephine Cifarelli Lowe 90 of Silver City, NM passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Silver City Care Center.

A Graveside will be held at Memory Lane Cemetery on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00am.

She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Valentines Day 1927. She was a first generation American, born to European immigrants, Guiseppe “Joseph” Cifarelli (Italy) and Gertrude Schmidt (Germany). Josephine was orphaned at 3 years of age and was raised at St. Mary’s Academy in Silver City, NM. Josephine was the widow of Boyd “Cookie” Lowe.

She is survived by her son Russell Lowe of Silver City, NM, her daughter and son-in-law,Vicky and Charles Hawman and her grandchildren, Cody and Teresa Hawman and Breann Hawman, all of Durango, Colorado.
