Timothy Rex Weston 68 of Silver City, NM passed away August 10, 2018 at his residence.

Tim was born in Midway City, California in 1949 to Beverly Gage.

As a southern California boy, he spent his young life surfing, working on cars and motorcycles, fishing, and hunting with his grandfather.

He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1971 where he served as a machinist in Germany.

Tim moved to Fairbanks Alaska where he met his wife Caren and had two children.

The family moved to Silver City, NM in 1988, where they still reside.

Tim was known as a master of many things, welding, machinist, automotive guru, as well as a wonderful father, husband and grandfather. He had a great sense of humor and many folks would come to him for advice. He leaves behind many beloved friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Caren, daughter Jessica and son TJ, granddaughters Grace Walton and Zoey MacArthur.

A Celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the family home beginning at 4:00 p.m.
