The Prayer Vigil and Rosary will take place on Wednesday,September 19, 2018 at six o’clock in the evening at Baca’s Funeral Chapels in Silver City. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels.

Jimmy Joe Altamirano was born in Silver City New Mexico on Feb 20, 1993 to Alex J. Altamirano and Lori Fox. He was one of Heavens warrior angels. God called his back to battle in heaven on Monday. He attended Silver Schools. He was a kind young man with an even kinder heart. He lived his life with no worries and material items meant nothing as long as everyone around him had what they needed. He didn’t have a selfish bone in him. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and camping with his family.

Jimmy Joe is survived by his parents, Lori Fox and Alex Altamirano; his sister Faith and four brothers, Alex, Jacob, Jordan and Estevan. He is also survived by his uncles and aunts; Isidro and wife Delia, Manuel and wife Diane, David and wife Irene, Johnny Montenegro and wife Rita, Steve Madrid and wife Amy, Larryand wife Patty, his uncle Rick Altamirano and aunt Dolores Altamirano along with Maternal grandfather Stanley Fox, numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles. Awaiting him in Heaven, are his maternal grandmother Lucy Fox, paternal grandparents Isidro and Amalia Altamirano and his cousin Richard Altamirano. Honorary pallbearers will be his siblings.
