Trinidad C. “Jorge” Tovar, 69, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Monday, September 24, 2018 at Mt. View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. He was born in Mexico on October 16,1948 to Esther Tovar. Jorge enjoyed being around his love of his life Diana and his family. He enjoyed gardening. At one time, he liked riding his bike. He also enjoyed going out to dinner, BBQ and dancing at the Brown Derby. He could talk up a storm with anyone that listened or with friends. He worked various jobs, plumber’s helper, a dishwasher and helped build rock walls.

He is survived by his companion Diana “Guera” Jimenez of the family home; two daughters, Sarah and Erica Tovar of TX; one brother, Enrique Tovar of Rancho Marquez, Mexico; one sister, Socorro Rico of Mexico; step-children, Joanne Bejarano (Juan) of Silver City; Gino Jimenez (Michelle) of Las Cruces; Carlene Jimenez (fiancé- Thomas Gutierrez) of Santa Clara, NM; grandson, Ivan Jimenez (Mireya); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at a later date. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
