Uriah Matthew Harris, 40, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, November 8, 2018 at University Medical Center in El Paso, TX. He was born April 28, 1978 in Cottonwood, AZ to Joseph Harris and Patricia Venekamp. He is survived by his loving wife, Juliet Madrid of the family home; his parents, Joe and Pat Harris; two sons, Julian  Madrid and Jonathan Harris; one daughter, Scarlet Harris; four brothers, Shane Harris of Scottsdale, AZ; Nathan Harris of Silver City; Jordan Harris of Santa Fe; Jacob Harris of Santa Fe; six sisters, Heather Harris of Las Cruces; Ashley Huff and husband Shawn of Rock Creek, AZ; Alexa Trujillo and husband Leo of Silver City; Kasia Harris and fiancé Mario Sanchez; Jarah Aguirre and husband Steve of Silver City; Kalah Carrasco and husband Shawn of Silver City; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and two great nieces; aunts and uncles from the Harris family and Venekamp family.  

He was preceded in death by one sister, Ariel Harris; uncle Kevin Venekamp; grandmother Berniece Johannsen; step grandfather, Ed Johannsen, and grandfather, Wilbur Venekamp; grandparents, Ray and Elaine Harris. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 20 at 6 p.m. at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
