Teresa “Tita” Terrazas, 48, a resident of Bayard, NM entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the family residents surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 23, 1971 to Carlos and Hilda (Rodriguez) Terrazas. She fought her battle with cancer until the very end. Teresa loved with everything she had. Her children and grandson were her pride and joy. Teresa loved spending time with her family and friends. She always wanted to make everyone laugh and feel welcomed. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend that will be greatly missed. She is survived by her parents, one son Cruz Terrazas and companion Desiree, one daughter Viviana Terrazas, grandson C.J. Terrazas of Bayard, NM; three brothers, Carlos Terrazas Jr. (Gladys) of Avondale, AZ, David Terrazas (Doris) of Santa Clara, NM and Robert Terrazas (Susie) of Hurley, NM; three goddaughters, Jessica Sauceda, Tiffany and Ashley Nunez and one godson Fabian Quintana and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Jose and Josefina Rodriguez.

The holy rosary will be Tuesday, April 16, at 8am at Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by the funeral liturgy at 8:30am. Concluding services will be around 4pm at the Hurley Cemetery.
