gonzales 01Jesus E. Gonzales, 90, a resident of Arenas Valley, NM entered eternal rest Friday, May 10, 2019 at Mt. View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. He was born August 3, 1928 in Presidio, TX to Guillermo Gonzales and Eduvirgen Estrada Gonzales. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by two sons, Esquiel “Zeke” Gonzales and wife Susie of Silver City; Joe Gonzales of Silver City; three daughters, Yolanda Gonzales Gonzales, Irma Warhank of Silver City; Corina Moreno of Gallup, NM; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Alicia Molinar Gonzales, one grandson, Joey Moreno, one great-granddaughter, Emilie Gonzales, two brothers, Esquiel and Cruz Gonzales, two sisters, Goya Pando and Maria Alvarado; two son in-laws, Jimmy Gonzales and Larry Warhank. Visitation will be Monday, May 20 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil recited by Deacon Bill Holguin and the holy rosary being recited by Carmen Terrazas  to begin at 6pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 21 at 9:30am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Oliver Obele officiating. Concluding service cremation will follow. Inurnment will take place at St. Vincent Catholic cemetery at 4pm. Pallbearers will be J.P. Gonzales, Nicholas Gonzales, Zekial Gonzales, Golden Gonzales, Karl Warhank, George Martinez, Domonic Romero, and Tony Martinez.
