Alvin Ray Barnes, 71, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Silver City Care Center. He was born January 15, 1948 in Missouri to Wilford V. and Grace Stover Barnes. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Harms and husband Thomas Harms of Allegan, MI; Theresa Grant and husband James Grant of Grandville, MI; his son, Alvin Barnes Jr. and his wife Brenda Barnes of Dorr, MI; and his seven grandchildren. Cremation took place at Terrazas Crematory. His cremains have been shipped to Michigan where he will be laid peacefully to rest with loved ones.
