huffobitpicoval copyJennifer Susan Wright Huff, age 70, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at GRMC after an extended illness. She was born in Australia on June 5, 1952 and immigrated to America with her mother, Peggy Wright and step-father Ralph Wright and older sister, Margaret. They settled in Pinos Altos.

Jennifer is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerry Huff; daughters Wendy Huff (Rob Marable), Tiffany Madara, Lori Jones (Tony), sons Lance Huff and Ronnie Huff (Shelli) and daughter-in-law Ashley Huff. Grandchildren are Darrien Marinsek (Matt), Kayleigh Kelly (Shane), Taylor Huff (Kelsie), Tyler Huff, Katelynn Forrer (Dominic), Nola Madara and her father (Rockfeller), Joe Huff, Chris Huff, Sydney Townsend, Bryan Townsend, Spencer Hamilton, and Drew Morgan as well as niece Tisha Babineaux and nephew Steven Scott. Great-grandchildren are Colton Townsend, Eryn Kelly, Kynlee Kelly and Owen Forrer.  Jennifer is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Hughes (Mike) and Elizabeth Wright and brother Martin Wright (Vicky) and sister-in-law Judy Ward (Tip).

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Peggy Wright, son Shawn Huff and nephew Dan Scott.

 Jennifer attended Silver High School and Western New Mexico University. She was employed at DCI and was dearly loved by the patients. She worked in several businesses over the years, including Western New Mexico University. She loved to sew and made formals, wedding gowns, baby clothes, anything and everything. She made about 50 photo albums of all the family pictures. She loved family dinners and would often have a crowd of 15 or so at Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Jennifer spent her spare time moving walls, doors, repainting and remodeling the house. Some of her happiest times were being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The celebration of life service will be at Terrazas Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m with Pastor Linda Fischer officiating. A reception will follow the service at the Silver City Grant County Visitor Center, Archery Room.
