ClarkCOur hearts are broken over the passing of Curtis Allen Clark on October 22, 2023, at the age of 73 years.

Curtis was born in Alice, Texas, on November 7, 1949, to Delbert Leon Clark and Beatrice Brock Clark.  Curtis served 33 years in law enforcement and retired as a Special Agent with ICE. Upon retirement, he spent most days playing golf with his friends the Bogey Busters, hiking, hunting and traveling to visit his children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He is known for his wisdom, consideration of others, and his ability to bring joy and laughter to any gathering of friends and family. Curtis’ quiet, humble and generous spirit will be missed by his many friends and his loving family.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Cynthia Harkwell Clark, sons: Shawn Clark of Key West, Florida; Benjamin Clark (Lili Gong) of Benicia, California; and John Clark of Las Cruces, New Mexico.; his daughters: Michele Clark of Key West, Florida; Angelica Clark Tcherneshoff (DeMarquis Tcherneshoff) of Battle Mountain, Nevada; and Annalisa “Bebe” Clark of Waco, Texas. Curtis has 3 grandchildren who he adored: Cooper Lynn Tcherneshoff, Paige Mae Tcherneshoff, and Carson James Tcherneshoff. Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Beatrice Brock, his sister-in-law Patricia Clark, and father-in law Richard Harkwell.

A Celebration of Life will held in late November and in lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to a scholarship fund for the grandchildren that will be managed by his wife.
