Donald Reese, 86, an Army Veteran and resident of Silver City, NM, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Fort Bayard Medical Center in Santa Clara, NM.  He was born May 22, 1937 to his parents, Jordan and Ruth (Yater) Reese in Big Spring, TX.  In life, he joined the Army and was self-employed as a Farmer. 

He is survived by one daughter, Mary L. Marshall (James); his eight Grand-children and his niece Debbie Reynoso (John).  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lydia (Miranda) Reese; his brother, Joe Bob Reese; his sister, Shirley Reese. 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 29th at 11:00am at Trinity Memorial Park (6900 S. Hwy 87 or PO Box 2591, Big Spring, TX 79720) with Pastor Brad Daniels officiating.  He will be laid to rest near his beloved, Lydia.
