Esperanza S. Ornelas, 96, of Lordsburg passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Copper Canyon Assisted Living in Tucson, Arizona.

Visitation will take place at five o'clock in the evening on Friday, February 2, 2023 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Lordsburg, NM. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary led by Esther Valenzuela will begin at six o'clock. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Esperanza at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, February 3, 2023 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Shakespeare Cemetery. Officiating is Father Martin Okonkwo.
