Lora E. Brandenburg 65, a Silver City resident passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Gila Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on February 25, 1947 to William C. and Bessy L. (McDonald) Graham. She married George Brandenburg in 1965. In 2000 they moved to Silver City. She worked for Lifequest for 11 years. She enjoyed the great outdoors, race car racing, camping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband George Brandenburg; two brothers; George (Ray) and his wife Connie from Pierce City, Missouri and Calvin Stall from Deming, NM and her sister Sharon Graham from Silver City, two grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her only son Timothy Brandenburg, who passed away on October 31, 2012, and her parents.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Silver City Crematory.
