Perrault

Oskar James Perrault, 12, formerly of Silver City now a resident of Georgia, entered eternal rest Friday, January 11, 2013 in Georgia.

He was born May 17, 2000 in Silver City, NM to Brandon Perrault and Dominique Montoya.  Oskar was an unbelievably witty young person who loved to laugh and make everyone around him laugh.  He enjoyed speaking in accents and doing impersonations, especially ones of his mom, his sister Gracie and his grandmother Carol and he endlessly entertained his family.  He had a voice like his dad’s and loved music and movies.  He had an incredible memory and was extremely smart and inquisitive by nature, often capturing adults in long, intelligent conversations.  He also loved fireworks and cute girls and always found joy in the small things in life.  He loved his brothers and sisters and playing outdoors and camping.  He was curious about how things worked and was constantly questioning things.  He truly was wise beyond his years.

He is survived by his father, Brandon Perrault and companion Tamara Zackry of Silver City; his mother, Dominique Montoya and her companion Christopher Corbine of Valdosta, GA;  two brothers, Oliver and Martin Perrault of Silver City; step-brothers, Alfred and Isolde Tavizon of Silver City; two sisters, Gracie and Ella Perrault of Silver City; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Mary Perrault of Arenas Valley; paternal great-grandchildren, Isabel and Pete Martinez; maternal grandparents, Don and Kim Montoya; Carol Sue and Roger Sharp of Portland, OR; two great aunts, Mary Blackwell and Betty Jane Burlingane; god-parents, Don Montoya and Dorothy Trujillo; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Esther Y. Acosta; maternal great-grandparents, James and Edna McDonald; paternal great-grandparents, Don and Della Montoya.

Viewing will be Thursday, January 17th from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6pm with Dr. Gilbert Arizaga reciting.  The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, January 18th at 9:30 am at Santa Clara Catholic Church with Father Robert Becerra officiating.  Concluding service interment will follow at the Perrault family cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Adrian, Laramie, Alfred, Raymond and Oliver Perrault, Roger Sharp, Christopher Corbine and Alex Hallwyler.
