Leona Marie Brom, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 05, 2013 at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Indian Hills Baptist Church in Silver City, New Mexico.

Leona was born September 3, 1924 in Fayette County, Indiana to Henderson and Carrie Rolland Sizemore. Leona is preceded in death by her husband Sidney Brom, her parents, six brothers, and one sister. She is survived  by sons and daughters, James and Patricia Rowe of Connersville, Indiana; Donna and Roy Woods of London, Kentucky; Willard Wallace of Greensfork, Indiana; David and Penny Wallace of Greensfork, Indiana; Toni K. Etheredge and Charles Marsh of Silver City, New Mexico; Lonnie and Mary Rowe of Connersville, Indiana; Jay and Leslie Rowe of Connersville, Indiana; Keri LaPorto of Datil, New Mexico; Beth and Rick Isaacs of Connersville, Indiana; W. Kristi Meredith from Richmond, Virginia; and one sister Bessie Tice from Richmond, Indiana. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Leona was a member of the Indian Hills Baptist Church. She loved to cook, sing, and above all else, loved her kids.
