David C. Avery, 52, lifetime resident of Silver City, NM passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2013.

He was born in Denver, Colorado on February 21, 1961 to Leonard Richter and Marilee Avery-Logan. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and drove trucks for various local construction companies. He was active in the Mountain Man Rendezvous and always supported the Memorial Bike Runs throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brigitte Avery and his dad, Thomas W. Avery.  He is survived by his father Leonard Richter, mother Marilee Avery-Logan, his step-father Jim Logan; brother Michael C. Avery; sister Kari-Ann Melendez and husband Humberto D. Melendez, step-sister June-Marie Avery, half-sister Diana Richter Wardwell, half-sister Lynda Richter La Felle, step-sister Brenda Logan Donovan, step-brother Travis Logan, nephews Thomas Drye, Rob Drye, Cody Avery, Clinton Avery, and Peyton Lewis, as well as, numerous step/half nieces and nephews.
