MadridErlindaOn January 1, 2024, Erlinda "Linda" A. Madrid entered eternal rest peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Linda was born on May 2, 1949, in Columbus, New Mexico, to Edward and Patsy Arenibas.

Linda enjoyed spending time at the Y where she swam and exercised with her friends and was often followed with a friendly lunch. Her favorite hobby was shopping with her sisters, daughter, and goddaughter. Their shopping days were filled with laughs, adventures, and challenges to see who would find the best bargain. Linda almost always won! Shopping trips will never be the same without her. Linda was known for her ability to find solutions for even the most difficult situations. Nothing was impossible for her which explains her favorite scripture…Philippians 4:13, which reads, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Her faith in God was unwavering and was a pillar of strength for her entire family, especially her daughter, Vivian.
