.Upper level trough moves east of the area today. Behind the
trough a very dry air mass will combine with diurnal heating and gusty surface conditions. This will create critical fire weather conditions that warrant a Red Flag Warning over portions of the lowlands of southern New Mexico and far west Texas. RH values will
fall into the low double digits across the area while 20 foot
winds will gust above 20 mph across most areas.
