The Executive Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for of The Commons Center for Food Security and Sustainability (TC). Working in collaboration with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will execute the goals and objectives of the organization in alignment with its mission, vision and values. The Director will provide input into the planning and formulation of The Commons' annual objectives, a strategic implementation plan and the operating budget. Executive Director will monitor, assess, and report progress on a regular basis to the Board of Directors. A Passion for and knowledgeable in food security and food justice issues and demonstrated ability to engage people in an organization's mission and vision is required.
