The efforts to control the world population has taken some very devious turns. I just read about fake milk. If you are a fake person, I'm sure it's OK for you to consume it. However, if you are real, please read labels and just say "NO!"

I would much rather write about vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and supplements. However, with the move to control our food chains, it's becoming important to alert you to these changes so you can make moves to protect your family's health and your own.

The Defender is a champion for the American people. They expose the nefarious plans of mad scientists who are paid by those who want to take away our options for healthy food. Susan Burdick, PhD, is a researcher and reporter for this trustworthy site.

The new word for such things is "synbio" milk. It's now being sold in stores by companies such as "Bored Cow, New Culture, Change Foods, Brave Robot, Nick's, Coolhaus, Strive Nutrition, Nestle Cowabunga, Whey FWRD, JuiceLand, Apollo, Modern Kitchen, nurishh, Myprotein, Renewal Mill, Bel Group and Mars CO2COA."

Labeling isn't what it used to be, meaning they can omit listing what they don't want to tell you. However, read labels and see if they say synthetic milk. Their selling point is to have less global warming by eating less animal products. This is really "sleight-of-hand" talk.

Tests from HRI, a non-profit lab with no obligations to companies promoting these products tested the false milk sold by Bored Cow. They use a fake whey protein called ProFerm. This comes from a biotch partner company, Perfect Day. What they don't want you to know is that they use genetic modified "microflora" to produce the synthetic milk protein.

They ferment this stuff which was found to contain "92 unknown molecules plus a pesticide!" Bored Cow justifies it as an "animal-free" alternative to real milk. However, they do say they use real milk protein that comes from fermentation.

Italy banned the sale of synthetically produced meat. Europe has tended to be more protective of its people than the governing bodies in the United States.

The 92 unknown molecules have not been studied by scientists. So, basically, if you're going to consume these things, you are part of an experiment. They will only decide there is a problem when people begin reporting side effects. (They will likely be ignored, or passed over lightly as has been the pattern these days.)

By the way, the fungicide is actually a pesticide. It may have been added to the fermentation process to inhibit fungal growth.

Look for synbio milk in alternative dairy products such as ice cream, milk, whey protein, and cream cheese. It will then only be a matter of time until it is used in all types of pre-packaged products that formerly contained real dairy milk and cheese.

The companies deny that they're using genetically modified substances. Our government does not require labels such as bioengineered or GMO. No regulation means no protection for the consumer.

Let's look at some things in Bored Cow's label. Whey protein (fermentation). Dipotassium phosphate is allowed in food and used in producing soap and fertilizer. Often in coffee creamers and cheese. It can cause problems with people who have compromised kidneys), not to mention nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and other symptoms.

Gellan gum is a thickening agent produced by bacteria. Side effects can be gas, bloating, and possibly diarrhea. It is used in almond milk. (mindbodygreen.com)

Calcium potassium phosphate citrate. Searching finally shows possible side effects. digicomply.com mentions that this can increase the "risk of kidney stones, dehydration and electrolyte imbalance." This too, can cause nausea, vomiting, and intestinal discomfort. Some people are allergic to it.

So, if you have three items that can all cause digestive distress, do you really want to consume fake milk? Do you want to expose your children to these issues?

We're at a point in time where we must become aware of what's in the products we tend to consume. Buyer beware has possibly never been so vitally important to our health and sense of well-being.

Please, friends, stay healthy.
