Soros DA Raúl Torrez AKA Bernalillo County DA Torrez puts criminals in our neighborhoods,

Not in our jails.

Bernalillo County District Attorney Raúl Torrez was swept into office with the support of Billionaire George Soros and his justice reform political action committee. Torrez and Soros both have demonstrated criminals do not belong in jail but in our neighborhoods. Soros and Torrez have contributed to Albuquerque being listed in the top ten Most Dangerous Cities in the nation.

In the spring of 2021, a young woman escaped an assailant that broke through the narrow window next to her front door. The assailant ended the chase when the woman sought refuge in the neighbor's home. Despite fingerprints, DNA evidence, and the AFD treating the assailant a block away from the crime, there have been no arrests or prosecution.

In November of 2019, Edward Martinez was driving on West Central Avenue when an assailant shot him. One of the bullets struck Edward in the head, he lost consciousness and crashed his pickup truck. He woke up in the hospital grateful to be alive, but he lost sight in one eye. Despite the APD Detective assuring him that they would prosecute the shooter, there has been no prosecution.

In the last twelve months, our firm has had almost $100,000 in equipment stolen in Albuquerque. Fortunately, law enforcement and our staff have recovered most of the equipment. I told the NM Police officer that recovered our skid steer loader that I was going to sue the company that had our equipment. He responded, suing the company will jeopardize the prosecution of the case. The firm has not been prosecuted.

Bernalillo County District Attorney Torrez chose not to prosecute Darien Basher for attempted murder and a later drive-by shooting. Basher out on bail, murdered UNM Baseball player, Jackson Weller near the UNM campus. Jackson Weller would be alive today if DA Torrez put Basher in jail and not in our neighborhood.

Now APD has given up on showing up. In early November of 2021, Michael McCutcheon and a female passenger were sitting in their vehicle at Sixth Street and Central Avenue, when a man approached their vehicle with a large knife and threatened to kill them. She called 911 for help, what she got was, this is a non-emergency and APD will not respond. Months later that same knife-wielding individual, Tobias Guiterrez was arrested for stabbing eleven individuals.

Our crime epidemic is not an Act of God, it happened because Billionaire Soros's District Attorney Raúl Torrez, AKA Bernalillo County DA Torrez choose not to prosecute criminals. It is time we elect District Attorneys that believe criminals belong in jail, not in our neighborhoods. Work to keep Torrez and those like him out of the New Mexico Attorney General's Office.

Only in New Mexico

Twice Republican, Now Libertarian Blair Dunn appeared in federal court to defend the Otero Democrat Party the right to trash Couy Griffin's property. Blair Dunn supports the First Amendment.

It was great seeing Karen Badonie on the campaign trail in 2018 in Northern New Mexico. She talked about Second Amendment Rights, why it was important to Native Americans and all Americans. Now I see she is running for Governor as a Libertarian again supporting the Second Amendment.

Aubrey Dunn demonstrated in 2018 that the Libertarian Party can help elect Democrats, just ask Pat Lyons. It is time that the Republican Big Tent includes those that believe the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are guiding principles not just an old idea. We need those Conservative Libertarians, otherwise we end up with Crazy Santa Fe Democrat policies.

Santa Fe Democrats support keeping New Mexico oil in the ground and importing oil from Russia. They have taken the saying, "Swords into Plowshares" in a whole different direction, "Oil into Nukes."
