I have to admit that there is a part of me getting tired of writing and talking about the same issues over and over and over. So this week I think I'll stick with some random observations and thoughts so that I can recharge my batteries a little bit by doing something different. Besides we haven't done one of these for a long time.

I always find it a little bit insulting when a cashier checks the bill I gave her or him to see if it is counterfeit or legitimate. If I was counterfeiting something I wouldn't be shopping at the Dollar Tree.

I find it interesting that the same people who believe most of us cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication are the same ones that believe we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication plus the cost of a bureaucracy to administer the program.

Michelle Obama went off on another rant against white people saying that we do not understand the problems faced by black people over time. Never mind the fact that white people helped found organizations like the NAACP, help to run the Underground Railroad, died fighting for civil rights and against discrimination in the South. By using her so-called logic, how does she know what white people feel like or understand because she's not white.

The NFL announced last night that all Dallas cowboy games for the remainder of the season will be aired on The History Channel rather than broadcast networks. This is because their fans keep living in the past as they have no future.

What language do newborn babies think in?

Of all the skills I was taught in elementary school, avoiding cooties was the one I least expected to be using this late in my life.

Being taught to avoid conversations about politics and religion has led to a lot of misunderstanding about politics and religion. What we should be teaching is how to have a civil discussion about difficult topics.

Did you ever get up in the morning, look in the mirror and think, "that can't be accurate".

Is there a tax we can pay to stop the Covid? Or does that only work for climate change?

Some companies should make CBD toilet paper because some of you need to calm your backside down.

Do not believe what you see in cartoons. No matter how hard you throw a plunger at someone's face, it will not stick. Do not ask me how I know this.

We have toast because someone took a bite of bread and decided to send it back saying, cook this again. Genius!

Short people are always the last to know that it's raining.

The eyes are useless when the mind is closed.

Well I hope you enjoyed this week's column , chuckled a little bit and thought a little bit. If you're going to vote for Joe Biden, Election Day is Wednesday. If you're going to vote for Donald Trump, you can vote on Tuesday. I'm sure Facebook would censor me for this and some of our liberal acquaintances will think that I'm doing everything I can to suppress voters. You are right.
