I believe it was last week's radio show when I discussed Joe Biden's address to Congress and the country outlining his plan to ruin America. Only about 11 million people tuned in to watch the address. That number is significantly less than President Trump got for any similar speech by a factor of three. In fact, Trump regularly attracted audiences of over 40 million viewers. Presidents Obama, Clinton and Bush regularly attracted at least twice as many viewers. How does this happen when Joe Biden received over 80 million votes in the presidential election? That's more than any other president has received before so you would think if he's so popular more people would want to tune in to see what he's going to do for us.

I have watched and looked for all of the posts on social media from my progressive friends that voted for Joe Biden their support his policies. I regularly saw them post things about Donald Trump while he was president but so far they are eerily quiet about the actions taken by their candidate. In fact when I ask some of them to name at least one specific thing Joe Biden has done that they like they are silent.

In fact to the contrary, I have seen several that were particularly vociferous in their opposition to President Trump posting their frustration with Joe Biden and what he is doing to this country. To be sure, they are very specific in the things they do not like such as the out of control spending, high unemployment, proposed tax increases, and high gas prices.

Even some of the most steadfast progressives in the establishment media have expressed some concern about the policies that Joe Biden is putting forth. There were even several corporate CEOs expressing concern about the high tax rate proposed by Joe Biden on networks such as CNBC, ABC and in print media such as the New York Times, whose editorial board also expressed concern. But they're getting exactly what they voted for because none of this was a secret during the campaign. It might have been lightly reported so that the average voter was not aware of his policies but the corporate CEOs certainly were aware of what was coming as were the media pundits and reporters.

IPSOS Regularly conducts polls on how people are assessing the way things are going in this country and what concerns people in each country. 62% of Americans think this country is headed in the wrong direction. How does that jive with Joe Biden receiving 82 million votes? The biggest issue concerning people in most countries including the United States, is the handling of the coronavirus pandemic. There is increased frustration with the continued restrictions in spite of the science and common sense. For example, Governor Cuomo extended the mask restrictions that are in place even after Dr. Fauci and the CDC changed their guidance to ease the restrictions significantly. Joe Biden, through a spokesperson, also urged caution and strongly suggested people continue to wear masks and socially distance and stay out of large groups.

My overall point is twofold: first, there is no way that Joe Biden legitimately received 80 million votes but has lost the support of 62% of the American people in just over four months. Secondly, I do believe people are waking up to the politicization of the pandemic and the hypocrisy of the politicians that have placed severe restrictions on many of us.

It does give me a bit of hope, believing that we have a chance to take our country back. I still think our future is in grave danger and that if we do not act we will move so far towards becoming a socialist country that we will never return to the Republic that has allowed us to thrive in so many ways. I urge you to continue to beat the drum of freedom by talking and engaging with friends and family in a positive way reminding them of how great this country is and that we can be that great once again.
