I cannot decide how much of the current situation in Afghanistan is due to the sheer incompetence of the current administration, how much is due to the fact that it might be driven by political motivation, or if it is at the instruction of the cabal desirous of ruining America (George Soros and friends). In the grand scheme of things, which one is truest matters, but as we watched things unfold today (Thursday) this is the most disastrous moment in American history.

We know that the attacks could have been avoided. General Jack Keane and other military leaders have pointed out that the standard operating procedure for a situation such as is occurring at Kabul airport is to have a cordon around the exterior of the base that is controlled by your own military. Instead The United states has outsourced that to the Taliban. Because Joe Biden says we can trust them. Never mind the Taliban and others of their ilk subscribe to a strict interpretation of the Quran which says lying to your enemies is not only acceptable but expected. History proves they live by this principle. Any person with common sense should know not to trust them.

General Keane, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and other former members of the Trump administration's intelligence community were warning last weekend that such an attack was coming. Not that it could come but that it was coming. The current administration claims there was no intelligence to indicate this could happen. Once again you're dealing with a terrorist organization with a history of committing violent acts such as this and even if there was no specific intelligence warning that such an act was being planned or was imminent, any person with a third grade education and a lick of common sense has to know this is not just possible but also probable.

To think that some splinter group was responsible for this act on their own is also highly unbelievable. The Taliban controls what goes on in these areas of Afghanistan. While ISIS-K might truly exist as a separate terror group that might not be friendly with the Taliban, it is difficult to believe the Taliban did not at the very least allow this attack to occur. For these people to get through security checkpoints undetected seems unbelievable.

We also now know that someone in the Biden administration gave a list to the Taliban of known Americans and Afghanis with the special visa. Ostensibly this was to confirm to the Taliban who are manning the checkpoints around Kabul airport that person's claiming to have a right to travel to the airport for evacuation did in fact have the approval of the United States. According to several news sources this was done with the knowledge and express consent of Joe Biden. I'm sure none of these people is worried about being hunted down by the Taliban. But as many people have said, if the Taliban were guaranteeing safe passage, how come these people are not making it through the checkpoints?

Joe Biden tried to sound tough in saying that we will not stand for attacks on American soil or against the American people and we will hunt the responsible parties down and bring them to justice. He should put his name on that list along with many in his administration and at the top of the military leadership structure because they are ultimately the ones that created the situation which allowed this to happen. His words certainly represent the feelings of the majority of Americans, but I do not for one second think that he believes his words will result in any action of significance. This is pure political showmanship. And certainly no one in the Taliban, the terrorist world, nor any government in the world thinks Biden will follow through on his 'threat.'

But at least we don't have any mean tweets.
