The Cancel Culture continues to roll. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do, if you do not toe the line, you will suffer the wrath of those that want to control everything we do or say.

Enes Kanter Freedom used to be in the NBA. The Turkish native has been in the league for about a decade and has been an above average player. He has also spoken out about human rights abuses in Turkey and China. The NBA never had a problem with his opinions about Turkey but the night he painted his shoes with a slogan about the abuse of the Uyghurs by the CCP, he was warned not to wear them during the game. He did not obey the league officials that now monitor every game to ensure compliance with league rules.

In fact, Kanter stepped up his efforts often appearing on cable news shows and podcasts to discuss China's human rights record and abuses. NBA officials had a problem; they wanted to shut him up, as they had former Houston Rockets Head Coach Daryl Moray when he criticized China and the league's silence on abuse. Moray was fired and hasn't worked in the league since.

Until yesterday, Kanter had played for the Boston Celtics, who had cut his playing time down to a few minutes a game. He is a productive player averaging about 10 points and 12 rebounds a game. Then yesterday, he was traded to the Houston Rockets. The team promptly waived him, meaning he's no longer in the league. Is it a coincidence that he was sent to Houston? Not likely. Most NBA analysts that are honest say the trade made no sense for either team. Adam Silver, NBA Commissioner, has manipulated trade deals in the past to punish or control players that don't toe the line.

Adele was honored at a self-proclaimed 'gender neutral' awards show in Britain this past weekend. Upon accepting the award for Artist of the Year, which replaced Male & Female Artist of the Year awards, she made the horrific mistake of saying she was proud to be a woman. She did acknowledge the spirit of the award. The woke mob began lambasting her on social media, calling her a trans-exclusionary radical feminist. There's a new term for transphobic.

I guess now you can't be proud of being a female. It's been slowly trending towards this moment. Remember when it was 'I am woman, here me roar!'? The message was women can do anything a man can do and still be a woman. Then it became offensive to even use words that might identify a person as a woman. No longer can we call someone an actress or waitress. That somehow demeans a woman. But we can identify women if we are trying to point out discrimination. Such as not having enough women on the board of directors or members of your golf club.

Now you can't even say you are proud to be a woman. Now you can't criticize that which should be easily denounced. Let's not discuss the number of journalists, athletes, staff, and visitors to the Genocide Games that have been detained or expelled because they did some tiny thing the CCP did not like. I'm sure the woke crowd is just drooling with excitement at how the CCP deals with those they do not like. Be sure, it's already arrived in America. What are you going to do to make sure it doesn't become the 'new normal'?
