On Tuesday, March 26 at 11:00 am, we celebrated the completion of the College Avenue Beautification Project. This was a great example of the University and the Town of Silver City working together to complete a project that has transformed the way College Avenue looks (and feels with new pavement). On hand were the University's Board of Regents, University President Dr. Joe Shepard, Silver City Mayor Ken Ladner, Silver City Town Manager Alex Brown and a bunch of citizens and staff.
