At the Mathew B. Juan, Ira H. Hayes Veterans Memorial Park in Sacaton, Arizona, a 75th anniversary of the Iwo Jima Flag Raising took place on Feb. 22, 2020.
Members of the Gaffney-Oglesby Marine Corps League Detachment 1328 out of Silver City and Grant County traveled to Sacaton for the event. They participated in the parade that preceded ceremonies at the Veterans Memorial Park.
