Last year, the Silver City Rotary Club decided to establish a vocational scholarship program at WNMU. The initial funding for the program was for  three (3) $500.00 scholarships in Technology to WNMU students.  Two of those scholarships have been awarded, both in Electrical Technology. The recipients are Joshua Lara and Charles DeMars-Conoly.

One scholarship remains available. For further information, go to https://foundation.wnmu.edu/scholarship/info/ and look for the Rotary Vocational Scholarship under Applied Technology.

The Rotary Club meets every Tuesday for lunch in the Sunset Room of the WNMU Student Cafeteria. The club welcomes members of the public to the meetings. Guests are asked to contribute $10 if they want to participate in the hot lunch.
