Silver City, NM (July 13, 2021) — The Gila Regional Medical Center (GRMC) Auxiliary has chosen the recipients of its Patsy Miller Scholarship for 2021. Each year, the awards go to college students pursuing a health-related education. In previous years, awardees received $1000, but due to covid and the Auxiliary's limited fund-raising in 2020-21, this year's 16 awardees each received $500 to be used for tuition.

The Auxiliary, which is a volunteer organization that supports the hospital in various ways, grants these awards to assist the next generation of health professionals and extends their best wishes to all award recipients.
