Copper CowBelles is a local organization that is part of the NM CowBelles. The purpose of the group is to educate the public on the specifics of the beef industry and the nutritional values provided by beef. They provide information about the history of ranching, conservation practices and environmental aspects of ranching. Meetings are held the third Tuesdays of most months and participation is encouraged. It is not a requirement to actually be a rancher to join, just to have a desire to preserve our Western Heritage.
