Grant County 4-H would like to congratulate Mary Alice Murphy on receiving the 2021 Friend of 4-H award. For years the editor, publisher, and owner of the Grant County Beat online newspaper has been an avid supporter of Grant County 4-H. Anytime the Grant County 4-H has had news, needed sponsorship or help with publicizing an event, Mary Alice Murphy has always made sure that anything related to 4-H is disseminated out into the community. Her support has been absolutely tremendous throughout the years and the Grant County 4-H Council nominated her, and she was voted as the 2021 Grant County Friend of 4-H.

To honor her, Mary Alice Murphy's name will be added to the plaque on display at the Grant County Extension Office. Thank you, Mary Alice Murphy ,for your commitment and excellence!
