Thirty-thousand dollars will be donated to the Silver City Gospel Mission to honor WNM Communications' Jack and Helen Keen who have announced their retirement.

Silver City, NM, 11/30/22 – WNM Communications has announced that their current CEO, Jack Keen and VP of Human Resources, Helen Keen will be retiring at the end of 2022.

Jack Keen has over 40 years of service leading the company founded by his father in 1974. Jack also serves as Chairman of the Board for Western New Mexico Telephone and has served on the board of several sister companies, industry groups and local banks.

Helen Keen also has been with the company for over forty years, starting in tariffs and eventually working her way to the Human Resource side of the business. She also played a big role, lending her expertise in Human Resources to LICT, the parent company of WNM Communications.

The Keen's are well respected throughout the telecom industry and have been an integral part of the success at WNM Communications over the last four decades. It is fitting that the celebration of their careers culminates with a donation that will have a huge impact on the community that they have lived, worked and served for their tenure.

LICT, WNM Communications' parent company, has made a thirty-thousand-dollar donation to the Silver City Gospel Mission in the names of Jack and Helen Keen. The Silver City Gospel mission is a local non-profit in Silver City whose ultimate goal is to help those in need through feeding the hungry, sheltering women and operating a thriving thrift store.
