Girls will learn how vegetation is important and how seeds get dispersed for new plant growth. Girls will also learn about giving back to their community through service. For today’s girls, reversing environmental threats and improving the quality of life will be the work of their generation…and 1.7 million girls are leading the way. 

Monday March 13, 2023, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM at the Silver City Girl Scout Little House at 302 West 11th Street, Silver City. Wind erosion in the desert and desert seed dispersal. For Girls Kinder-5th, Girls must RSVP by March 8, 2023, to make sure there are enough supplies. Max 12 girls. 

Tuesday, March 14, 2023, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM at the Silver City Girl Scout Little House at 302 West 11th Street, Silver City. What is Community Service?  How can they help their community and what do they get out of it. Make Easter cards for residents at area nursing homes.

For Girls Kinder-12th must RSVP by March 8, 2023, to make sure there are enough supplies. Max 20 girls.
